La Plagne
Located in Savoie, La Plagne is one of the best-known family ski resorts.
The resort has 126 Paradiski runs with over 425 km of skiing. La Plagne also has a shopping centre covering over 1 km.
Requirements
La Plagne wanted to completely do away with paper posters and use a new, more responsive means of communication: digital signage.
The resort already had a digital signage solution which it was not completely happy with, which is why it adopted the Neoscreen solution. It was keen to renovate its shopping centre and digitise it to communicate more with visitors.
The aim was to share handy information about shops, tourism in the area and videos of customers on the ski slopes. La Plagne also wanted to display various items of information on outdoor screens, such as resort activities and road conditions.
The solutions provided
La Plagne first chose to install in interlinked six digital screens in the shopping centres, to broadcast videos of skiers on the slopes, as well as advertisements and content from social media.
Twenty screens were installed in the resort, specifically to fit out the shopping centre, the information points, the town hall, and the tourist information office where all the digital screens are managed. A total of 30 Neoscreen licences have been deployed on indoor screens and outdoor LED panels.
The use of Neoscreen makes it possible to store customer data on an online server, which allows the software user to access the entire screen fleet remotely, from a smartphone.
